AlanSPEIGHTPassed away on 3rd January 2026 aged 76 years. He is so very much loved and will be greatly missed by his wife Janet, his daughter Jennifer, his son Simon and their families, along with his many friends.

Funeral service at Weston Crematorium on Monday 26th January at 11.30 am.

I can only think this is Alan who was a machinist/engineer at Bristol Commercial Vehicles, prior to it's closing in 1983.
If I am correct then I remember a former collegue who was a lovely chap,well into railways, and a great Elton John fan. Back then I believe he lived in Yatton.

My deepest sympathy for you all, sorry I won't be at the service but will be remembering all the good times spent with Alan "The Boss" at YJFC and Railway evenings, miss crossing paths on way to station for Metro. Love Dave, Jane and Neil
